Who needs this, and why?
Before choosing an approach, we understand the problem together with the people who experience it. The context of practice is where the research question begins.

Built with Practitioners, Sharpened by Research
Practitioners bring experience and questions that are close to everyday life. Researchers bring the approaches to examine them. Anvesana exists to bring the two together in a process that keeps learning.

The values that guide us
Four values that connect practitioners' needs, scientific honesty, community, and impact.
Who needs this, and why?
Before choosing an approach, we understand the problem together with the people who experience it. The context of practice is where the research question begins.
What can we not conclude yet?
Making room for criticism and for results that differ from expectations. Evidence is examined, limitations are explained, and conclusions are revised when needed.
Whose perspectives do we need to hear?
Researchers and practitioners bring experiences that complement each other. Feedback from the field helps sharpen the questions and the scientific approach.
What do these findings mean for practice?
Finding ways for knowledge to be understood and used, then examining its benefits. Lessons from application become the questions for the next research.
How we work
Research, measurement, and learning are carried out by three units that pass their work on to one another.
What is really going on?
Research & findings
Goes into the field to understand people's problems in schools, universities, and workplaces, then turns them into knowledge that can be used.
How do we measure it fairly?
Instruments & psychometrics
Develops psychological measurement tools from research findings, presents them in forms that are easy to use, and keeps reviewing them.
How does it reach those who need it?
Learning & partnerships
Brings findings and measurement tools into learning spaces, writing, and collaboration, so they are used and tested in real life.
Feedback from the field becomes the next research question.
